The use of UPS power supplies can solve two problems, that is, when the power is unexpectedly cut off and the quality of the mains is poor, the UPS power supply can provide timely power supply to ensure normal operation and normal work efficiency.
The two main functions of UPS power supply:
1. Emergency use: to prevent accidental power failure and affect normal work.
2. Daily use: Eliminate power pollution such as power surges, instantaneous high voltage, instantaneous low voltage, wire noise and frequency deviation on the mains, improve power quality, and provide high-quality power.
For these two major functions, some experience in the use of UPS power supply can be used for reference:
1. Too light load may cause deep discharge of the battery, which will reduce the service life of the battery over time.
2. Proper discharge helps to activate the battery. If the utility power is not interrupted for a long time, the utility power should also be manually cut off every 3 months. The UPS should be discharged once with a load, which can extend the service life of the battery.
3. Most small UPS power supplies are turned on after work, and to avoid starting with load when turning on, and the UPS should be turned off after get off work; for the UPS power supply in the network computer room, it can run around the clock.
4. It is recommended not to carry inductive loads, such as money counters, fluorescent lamps, air conditioners, etc., to avoid damage to the power supply of the UPS. The output load is best controlled at about 60%, and the reliability is the highest.
