一. Project overview
The valve-regulated lead-acid battery widely used in the market is one of the important conditions to ensure the safety and stability of the UPS power supply system, and it plays an irreplaceable role in the power supply system. Generally, after valve-regulated lead-acid batteries have been in operation for 4 to 5 years, individual batteries will gradually age and cannot store electricity. If these batteries cannot be maintained and replaced in time, the entire UPS power supply system will fail, and the computer room will not be able to provide normal Power supply.

2. Customer needs (cases)
1. For 440 2AH batteries at 2 existing sites, collect the voltage, temperature, internal resistance, total voltage and total current of the batteries online.
2. The internal resistance of the battery is collected by a single battery module to realize the function of battery equalization management.
3. Centralized monitoring of the battery is realized at the computer room site and the monitoring center respectively.
4. Realize the real-time maintenance of the battery status in the computer room.
Three, configuration plan
As shown in the figure, each battery is equipped with a single battery parameter sensor. All battery parameter sensors are cascaded and connected to the battery parameter concentrator. The battery parameter concentrator realizes the transmission of battery data in the existing network. Finally, it is connected to the backstage of the battery online monitoring system in the computer room.
The two sites can transmit data through the existing data network. Each parameter concentrator has an independent dedicated IP address. The parameter concentrator supports transparent TCP/IP protocol. All data is finally summarized to the computer room battery online monitoring system. In Taichung, the voltage, temperature, and internal resistance of the batteries at all sites are monitored in the background, as well as the detection of discarded batteries, so as to realize the status of the batteries.
